WELLBEING PRESENTATION & MEET THE WELLBEING TEAM

The next Friends of Ballarat Grammar meeting will be held on Wednesday 6 June at 7:30pm in the Junior School Grade 3 Classroom, please enter via Dare Street and follow the signs.

Following the usual reports from the Senior, Middle and Junior School, there will be a presentation by the School’s Wellbeing and Pastoral Care team, led by Sandy Warwick, Assistant Head Wellbeing and Pastoral Care.

This presentation will highlight the positive psychology program which underpins the actions taken to promote and maintain the students’ wellbeing at Grammar.  We will also hear some reflections from students on the skills they are learning and the positive outcomes achieved, look at some case studies which demonstrate the support available to students and discuss strategies and proactive measures to keep our students thriving.

Staff attending include our school psychologists, Dr Meredith Rayner and Matt Davis, Rev Eleanor O’Donnell, Kate Brady (Positive Education Coordinator), Sharon Cuff (Junior School Wellbeing and Pastoral Care Coordinator), Chris Van Styn (Director of Boarding), Mandy Wilson (school nurse) and Debbie Pitson (school nurse).

This is a fantastic opportunity to ask questions or chat with the Wellbeing team in an informal setting and gain an insight into the important role these staff members play in the daily life of our school.
