Grammar Ag students excelled at the Holbrook Sheep and Wool Fair NSW
At the first sheep show of the year the Grammar team was awarded the Group Prize.
Year 10 and 11 students studying Agriculture travelled recently to NSW to participate in the Holbrook Sheep and Wool Fair. The Grammar team took out Champion Ram and Group of Three and Champion Dual Purpose section, taking out the Group prize!
Each year Holbrook Sheep and Wool Fair attracts stud sheep breeders and more than 150 secondary school students from throughout the Riverina, southern NSW and Victoria. The first day of the fair is “Schools’ Day” and is dedicated to educational workshops for participating schools, before students compete with their school sheep in the Schools’ Interbreed Competition.
