2015 VCE Results
Excellent VCE results from the Class of 2015 are testament to the hard work and determination from an outstanding cohort of students, accompanied by exceptional teaching and support from academic and house staff.
Five students achieved ATARs over 99
Thomas Williams recorded the highest ATAR 99.75
Other students achieving ATARs above 99 include Samuel Cirrito-Prince, Keira Unmack, Matthew Hall and Ameer Alwan.
Thomas exemplifies the character and well-rounded development of all Grammar students. Thomas is a brilliant pianist, having performed at countless concerts and public/community events. He has been one of the key members of Grammar Soccer Teams and has been an active Red Shield Appeal collector each year. Thomas has been on Bushfire Recovery Teams working in rural areas to clean up and rebuild damaged properties and he has also been a regular blood donor.
In a similar vein, Samuel, Keira, Matthew and Ameer also have impressive contributions across the breadth of community, sporting and cultural pursuits.
Matthew Hall commenced at Grammar as a Boarder in Year 8, hailing from the Wimmera region of Victoria. Matthew has a far-reaching range of achievements spanning numerous Rotary Public Speaking State Awards, ongoing community service through Anglicare and playing in numerous ensembles and bands. Matthew’s talent as a public speaker saw him win the Australian Plain English Speaking Awards national final in Canberra, after dominating regional and state finals. We eagerly await the international final of these awards in London, early 2016.
